To belize by ferry. This is why we only spent a total of $60 on lodging for all 10 nights. Because we camped for $3.50 and stayed places like this for only $5 a night. making pupusas. the market in Belize
The music festival we stumbled upon in Belize. This country was awesome and I wish we'd had more time in it. This city was particularly cool. High school band teams. Temple of the Jaguar at the Tikal ruins. Some dude's face.
Us contemplating the architectural feats of the one of the most interesting lost civilizations on earth. Hey you're not supposed to be standing there. Those guards are going to shoot you off the ledge. Me in front of the grand plaza of one of the most advanced civilizations on earth. A photo from the royal residences of one of the most advanced civilizations on earth.
More buildings with the cool name of "Acropolis," again part of one of the greatest civilizations on earth. Ok I'm going to stop with the greatest civilization stuff. A huge temple structure with the creative name of "Temple 5." Those archeologists were pretty inventive with their structure naming. (Complex Q, Temple III). From the top of Temple 5. Residences in "The Lost World."
This is the tunnel of Death-by-Bone-Crushing, named as such by me to make up for the boring archeologist name of "Group G." A cool tree with some religious significance about connecting the earth with the heavens and all that. And a spider monkey.
Temple III, Temple II, and Temple I. Temple III. I think. They all have similar names. Temple of the Flaming Sinking Orb. No, it's just temple III again.
Temple of the Jaguar, and the moon rising precisely in the center is not an accident. Gran Plaza A sweet looking snake. Coatis!
It looked pretty cool, but didn't work. jitney ride

Necesita mas tortrix Mi amiga chapína!
Mmmm, moonlit lake. making alfombras. Spraying alfombras so they don't blow away before they're destroyed by huge processions walking over them.

This is Milton the parrot. Oh here's one with a great name. Stella 15 or something like that. Stella #? OK this one actually is cool, the hieroglyphic staircase which tells the history of the civilization up to that point.
That's a macaw bird on the Mayan ball court Me deciphering the hieroglyphs. Again, cleverly named. Cabeza/Head. An intense mayan ball game. With an imaginary ball and crowd.
This is rather intense face off, because you gotta understand that the loosing team will be killed. Oh this second batch is at the Copán Mayan Ruins in Honduras. The town of Copán Ruins
